Eligible entities include partnerships, companies, joint ventures, not-for-profits, unincorporated and incorporated associations, and cooperatives. Individuals, sole traders and sole proprietors cannot sponsor.

What is considered adverse information?

Adverse information includes contraventions of Commonwealth/State/Territory law, regulatory action, insolvency, or provision of false, misleading or bogus documents to migration authorities.

Can training be provided by entities other than the sponsor?

Yes — training may be provided by an associated entity of the sponsor, or by an external provider where exemption applies (such as Commonwealth agency support).

How long is the 407 visa valid?

Up to 2 years from grant date, depending on the duration of the structured training program.
